Living in the desert means we can travel with our Vettes all year.  It’s been a hot summer with temperatures over 3 digits!  However, Colorado River Corvette Club celebrated the Kentucky Derby’s 100 years at JoAnn Leeming’s house dressed for the derby race with gorgeous decorations and plenty of Southern dishes, to include Mint Juleps.  After the actual race they continued with their own races on homemade stick horses.

Kathy Preble of the Thunder Vette Set (TVS) arranged a successful Game of Life in Sierra Vista in May that was open to club members and the public.

Fifteen TVS members decorated their Vettes with patriotic colors for the Palominas July 4th Parade, followed by breakfast hosted by President Wallace and Kathleen Ricks.
